Oh sweet, let's start talking about anime in one of Nash's threads. Having seen Nashcam, I can't see him pulling off Uzumaki Rendan, but he may yet have untapped power of which he is unaware....

I don't quite understand the build. This is a E/N, right?

Shannaro FTW!
Nash had a cam? Woah!
Wait, so the idea is to have Ele/Mes, go enervation to give weakness, and echo or arcane echo the stoning, and knocklock? Or am I forgetting something.

Why would you want to Echo Stoning when Arcane Echo does the job without wasting an Elite?

No idea, since I didn't bother looking up the differences. Those are the only two skills that I know do that, so I just listed them both.

Can someone post a link to where it says stoning has knockdown? I've been looking around and all skill descriptions I see don't mention knockdown.
Also is having weakness here just a nice compliment? Was the idea "if they're knocked down they might as well be weak and knocked down" or is there some synergy I'm missing? Just wondering because the context in a lot of the replies to this build make it sound like weakness is required.
Very interesting. I'm thinking of trying this out.

Enfeeble + Stoning spam. 1 knockdown every 6 seconds. Stoning costs 3 energy at 20% cost, have fun spamming! While you're in Curses grab Rend, and then throw in some more Earth Magic.

Did anybody inspire you to make this?

Rather similiar, though when I made my build, yours was like two steps ahead of this..

The change to Stoning inspired me. When you see that skill description it just screams to be abused.
The builds aren't that similar, other than both being built around Stoning/Enfeeble. Some skills are going to be the same when you're working with the same attribute lines.

Hehe, personally that seems like a really solid build. Just I'd replace earthquake with aftershock for the additional damage if they are knocked down and 15 less energy.

I liked the echoed Stoning + Enervating, though. I forgot about Enervating when making the build, it was basically a 5 min thing. However Aftershock I didn't use because it's PBAE.
I guess you can just swap out Earthquake and Armor of Earth for something a little less "on the fly build"-ish.

Inspired by this thread, my new PvP build for my E/Me RP farmer!
E/Me
Air 10 (+2), Earth 10 (+1), ES 8 (+1), Illusion 8
Lightning Orb (Air;15,2,5)
Envervating Charge (Air;10,1,8)
Stoning (Earth;15,1,5)
Arcane Conundrum (Illusion;10,2,20)
Conjure Phantasm (Illusion;10,1,5)
Earth Attunement (Earth;10,2,60)
Air Attunement (Air;10,2,60)
Elemental Attunement (Other;10,2,60)
Tactics:
1 )Get your enchants on.
2) Then: AC, CP, EC, Stoning, Orb, CP, Stoning, Orb, EC, etc.
3) Profit! Hopefully AC means you interrupt more spells with the knockdown.

Ahhh I see, that one link made this entire thread make a whole lot more sense. I think I'm gonna roll something up using enervating charge and echo and have that be my release build!

I can't see stoning keeping the knockdown effect without any other drawback such as exhaustion or increased energy cost. Too abusable imho. If they keep it that way comes release then it would really be a slap to hammer warriors

They'll probably just increase the recharge if it gets to be a real problem.

I don't know if upping the recharge would be enough prevent it from being abused. You could use arcane echo or echo to get around the recharge time.
